PHOA209: Week 7 - Announcements
Hi PHOA209,
We are currently in Day One of Week 7.
I wanted to double check with everyone that we are clear as to what is
due this week. I have made a little checklist for you below in regards
to this week's readings and due dates:
RE: WEEK 7 - READINGS
Be
sure to read through each section of Week 7's module thoroughly along
with the corresponding assigned readings, noted within the "Readings
& Assignments" section.
RE: WEEK 7 – ASG. #1: “Revisions & Skype Conference”
For this assignment, you will have an
in-progress critique with your instructor regarding your progress on the
portfolio, written statement, and résumé. This conversation will allow
you to discuss the strength of your portfolio components as well as
identify specific areas for improvement. You will be required to
schedule a 15-minute meeting with your instructor and will submit the
current version of all your materials (portfolio, résumé, and written
statement). Your instructor will organize the meeting schedule.
After the meeting, you
will continue to work on building your portfolio by shooting new work,
adjusting your resume, statement, portfolio (PDF) and Bēhance Profile
Page. You will also begin to order 11x14 prints to place into your
Binder.
By (date specified in assignment) review and comment on the autobiographies, resumes, and written statements posted by at least two of your peers. When
critiquing your peers' work, remember to give suggestions on how they
might improve their work. In addition, point out the aspects of their
work that were the most successful.
RE: WORKING AHEAD
Although
it may be tempting to work ahead, I would encourage all of you to work
within the given time frame. If you must work ahead, please refrain
from submitting your work until the given deadline.
