PHOA209: W6A1: Feedback
Hi Kathy,
You will find my feedback for your W6A1 in the form of “individual written feedback & a group video critique". Please use this feedback to help you prepare for your W7A1.
RE:
Revised the project and created a minimum of thirty new images created
with program required equipment based on areas identified in past
assignments. Submitted a contact sheet of minimum thirty images, use of
handheld light meter, and wide-angle image of lighting scheme, and
edited any final image selections. Complete Metadata was included in
contact sheet. Selected three images suitable for inclusion that meet
qualitative criteria to be included in the final portfolio (according to
the criteria listed in the lectures and self-evaluation document) and
successfully performed any necessary post-production adjustments. Included full-page lighting set up shot(s).
Completed the 30 new images; included image of handheld light meter in use & wide-angle image showing use of required 3 out of 3 lights.
Student's assignment is currently meeting the Associate's Degree standards; location was well stylized. Student is encouraged to shoot wider to give viewer more of an understanding of the size of the kitchen. Student may also want to consider aiming any hard lights up at the ceiling (to bounce the light off of the ceiling and to create a softer lighting effect.
Student is encouraged to refer to the the group video critique in regards to how to improve for the next photo shoot (particularly for photographing exterior architecture). Suggested top images are noted in the group video critique.
