PHOA209: W3A1: Feedback

Hi Kathy,

You will find my feedback for your W3A1 in the form of “group video feedback”, "individual written feedback", and "visual feedback".

Please ensure that you watch the entire length of the video in order to gain the most insight. The video is located above; just below the rubric.

PART 1:
RE: Revised the project and used program-required equipment to create a minimum of thirty new images based on the areas identified in W2: Assignment 1. Submitted a contact sheet of minimum thirty images and edited three final image selections. Complete metadata was included in contact sheet. Images meet portfolio standards. Included full-page lighting set up shot(s).

RE: Executed targeted improvements to the résumé, statement, and portfolio as per the guidelines specified in Step 1.

RE: Completed a brief written description that addresses the approach to revising the final project material.

Student presented 30 new images photographing a new subject / location; further details within the group video critique for how to improve for next week. Contact sheet included a wide-angle lighting scheme of set-up showing the required two lights and an image of handheld light meter in use.

Student's exposure, lighting, and editing techniques are currently meeting the professional standards and the lighting requirements for this assignment. Details on how to improve are noted in the group video critique.

Suggested improvements for resume that were given in the feedback for W1A1 were not completed for this assignment.  Statement shows improvements from W1A1. Student is encouraged to download attached ZIP file to make improvements for W4A1 when the resume and statement are added to the Web Portfolio.

Suggested improvements were done to portfolio; further details in group video critique.
PART 2:

RE: Included visual examples to support written ideas. Described why the examples were chosen.
Student’s journal was written; mapped out some goals and tasks that need to be worked on for the upcoming week.  Visual examples were included in journal.

Student is encouraged to be more specific about target audience; more details within the video critique and re-attached journal.
PART 3:
