PHOA209: W11A1: Feedback
Hi Kathy,
Thanks for posting your assignment. My feedback comes in the “written” formats for W11A1. Below you will see two out of the three categories within the rubric along with comments:
RE: Created a high quality cohesive group of images for the final portfolio that meet final portfolio standards.
Completed; student's portfolio meets the requirements for the Associate's Degree.
Wow! Your portfolio has come a long way from the start of class! I was glad to see that your body of work focused on both interior and exterior architecture! I think it was a good idea to avoid the images that focused on the "details" of an interior space. The images that you chose to represent the "human element" were strong choices.
Your portfolio also showed a nice variety of soft light, hard light, and different light ratios.

RE: Created an effective final résumé targeted to photography market.
Your resume has shown improvement over the last few weeks. Your current resume looks very strong and I think it's ready to be released to the world!

RE: Wrote an articulate final statement targeted to photography market.
Your statement has also shown improvement while you've been in the class. I know this is not the easiest statement to write, although your current statement covers the required basics: identity, style, directions, and strengths.

RE: Updated the web portfolio (link and screenshot PDF) to reflect the most current version of all materials.
Completed, although student is encouraged to update the "statement" portion of the site with updated statement.

RE:
Provided high quality required documentation for the completed physical
portfolio demonstrating well-crafted and effective print portfolio,
including images of prints and each page of the portfolio. Portfolio
standards apply to all final portfolio representations.
Completed; your printed portfolio looks great! This will be a helpful tool for you when you speak to potential clients in person.
