PH323: Problems & Solutions - Week 4 - Rain? Taking Pictures in the Rain? Tips & Tricks!

(Also seen in our Questions for the Professor section)
Hi Class,

This week you're presented with a challenge: to shoot your assignment outdoors regardless of what the weather is doing.  With that said, proceed with caution as your safety is more important.  If it's drizzling or raining a bit, there are a few tricks of the trade to stay dry and to also keep your equipment dry!  Naturally, if it's thundering and lightning - or if a hurricane is approaching or other disastrous storm - it may be best to schedule your photo shoot around this time.

I wanted to share a few articles with you that discuss how to have a great photo shoot in the rain. The first article is by Jim Richardson from National Geographic.
The second article is written by Lauren Lim from Photography Concentrate With Lauren & Rob. Take note of when Lauren discusses shooting under an overhang as seen in the pictures below; this is also a possibility for your assignment if it's raining too hard!
