Throughout this course, you'll be thinking about your own portraiture work and what type of genre or sub-genre your work fits into. For your W1A2, you got to experiment with multiple sub-genres of Portraiture. From here on out, please choose one of the following marketable sub-genres to focus on for this class.
You will focus on the same sub-genre of portraiture photography each week and you will photograph a new model each week. You are required to choose a sub-genre that is marketable.
Consider your model's schedule and book in advance. You're encouraged to contact different models during Week 1 to create a schedule and ensure that your model is available.

- Retail - Older Child (ages 9 - 12)
- Retail - Senior Portraits (ages 16 - 19)
- Retail - Maternity (women obviously carrying a child)
- Retail or Editorial or Character - Business (images of wo/men dressed in "suit"/"business" attire)
- Retail or Editorial or Character - Sports (images of wo/men dressed in athletic gear)
- Retail or Fashion - Fashion (images of wo/men dressed in unique clothing that makes a conceptual statement)
- Retail or Fashion - Beauty (sub-sub-genre of Fashion; clearly focusing on skin, make-up, hair vs. outfits)
- Advertising - Person with Product (images of wo/men clearly advertising a product other than clothing; model serves as a "prop" for the product)
