PH222: W4A1 - Feedback
Hi Adrienne,
Below you will find my feedback for your W4A1 for 2 out of the 3 categories in the rubric; details regarding your peer responses will be left in the gradebook. Feedback has been provided to you in the form of “group video feedback”. Please ensure that you watch the entire length of the video in order to gain the most insight.
- Have correct exposure and demonstrate technical knowledge of camera and lighting control.
- Exhibit creativity with angles and composition (moving camera and subject frequently to explore the angles).
- Attention to line and other design elements.
- Followed instructions and requirements for assignment.
RE: Posted a contact sheet containing a minimum of 36 photographs made using required equipment and included a 150-word explanation about the photographic process.
Student created a contact sheet that clearly showed the required gear (lighting schemes, although did not include an image of handheld light meter in use). Student also included a word essay (150 words) that explained clearly the photographic process.
Please note: your PDFs were not re-attached; please be sure to watch the entire length of the video for details on how to improve lighting, your suggested top images, and the overall creative concept that was show in your images in relation to the wardrobe, props, and location/studio choices.
In the video critique, we look at Lauren Lemon's photography for inspiration. As I mentioned in the video, I would encourage you to review her work - particularly her portraiture work in regards to how she uses color, light, props, and the wardrobe to help tell a story within her images.
