PH222 - Problems & Solutions - Week 1 - Class Starts Today - Important Info

Hello Class,
Welcome to PH222! Today, January
12th, is the first day of our class and I'm very excited to work with
all of you this term. There are a number of things to be aware about in
our online classroom, particularly for those of you who may be joining
us from a "ground" campus.
First and foremost: please review the attached PDF titled "PH222 P01 - Required Equipment, Software & Textbook - Due by Day 1 (1.12.17) - Outlook Web Access Light". This is a vital e-mail that was sent out on Monday to those registered for the class. The e-mail discusses all of the required gear that you'll need to pass the class. There is also information about the required textbook and the software that you'll need to pass the class. If you're unfamiliar with any of the required gear for this class, I have also attached a PDF with details - which are further explained in the e-mail attached.
Be sure to also read over the post in our Course Home section of the classroom that discusses the "Required Equipment" for class and ensure that you physically have everything. You will be asked to clearly present all of your gear, software, and required book in your W1A1. Those who do not have the proper gear will unfortunately run the risk of failing the course. If you have any questions regarding the gear, please be sure to get in touch with myself or your AC. Secondly: If you have not done so already, be sure to review the Video Intro to Class, which is posted in the Course Home section. This video discusses the basic layout of the online class, which due dates to follow for your assignments and peer responses, and a number of other things to keep in mind as you move through our online class. Third: In order to succeed in this class, you'll need to become familiar with the "guidelines". The guidelines can be found in the link below which will bring you to a document to download the "AIO_Guidelines for Class". These guidelines cover the late work, peer responses (class participation), the types of feedback you'll receive, the due dates, different posts throughout the class, the extra credit policy, and much more.
